Chinook
68 Pounds |
The top Tyee of the season. |
This lovely 'hawg,' landed by Colin Fryer and first mate Mike Shumway was caught in the later weeks of July during a beautiful sunset, right in front of the lodge. This proved to be one of the most productive hotspots for trophy Chinook throughout June and July. The Chinook ensued a shallow-water battle which was witnessed by everyone on deck. The final result was a 68 pound Tyee: a dream fish, and an absolutely amazing accomplishment for these fishermen. Well done, gentlemen. |

Coho
25 Pounds |
Derek Sager with his beautiful 25-pound Coho. |
This Coho was one of the most beautiful specimens anyone had seen at the lodge. An early August catch and at the hands of junior angler Derek Sager. The Coho weighed exactly 25 pounds, an absolute monster Coho to be caught in the ocean. At first they thought that they had an average size Chinook on the line until further inspection, when they noticed the white gums and spotless body. Then they knew they would make the news. A beautiful catch and probably the ultimate goal of any hardcore Coho fishermen.
A new lodge record by far. |

Halibut
149 Pounds |
Gary's huge halibut. |
It was up to a couple of our members of the 'meat crew,' to land the largest Halibut of the season. As you can see the Halibut supersizes Gary, so we are sure it was a battle never to be forgotten. |

60 Pounds |

Steve, Ryan and the 2005 record Lingcod. |
This monster 'buckethead' was brought in one beautiful afternoon by Steve and guide Ryan. We were amazed by its sheer size and even more amazed at the weight. The Lingcod: 60 pounds. This is not only a 2005 record, but a new lodge record. Well done, and enjoy your fish and chips. |
